Audition Requirements
All must fill out the Audition Google Form prior to auditions:

All digital auditions, for those who cannot attend in person, are to be sent to auditions@newtowneplayers.org

Please prepare 32-64 measures (1-2 minutes) of a Broadway style song. Pick a song that best showcases your range and personality. It is not required to have your audition memorized, but highly recommended.

For in-person auditions, please be prepared with your music AND email an accompaniment track for your song to: auditions@newtowneplayers.org using the Subject line [(Your Full Name) Audition Track]. (YouTube tracks, mp3s and mp4s are all acceptable formats.) There will not be a way to print music once you arrive at the audition.

Please be sure to list ALL conflicts on the audition form. Include all potential conflicts from the audition date through the closing of the show. We know summer is busy and we anticipate performers may take vacations. We can work around conflicts we know about ahead of time, please be thorough.

We are looking for strong singers with excellent pitch and tone, who are able to emote and show expression while they sing. Dance experience is a bonus, but not required. There will not be a dance portion to the audition, but there will be a place to note any past experience on your audition form.

For more information, please contact the directing team via email at auditions@newtowneplayers.org
