2022 Forest Forensics Webinar and History Hike
Welcome to forest forensics in Michigan! Forest forensics involves reading clues to natural and/or human influence in the landscape to decipher the history of the site. The concept was developed by Tom Wessels of Antioch University; links to his work and links to previous Michigan focused forest forensic webinars will be included in a registration confirmation email.
This year, we are offering a webinar primmer on forest forensics, followed by history hikes at various locations throughout the state. Each site has a different story to tell; feel free to join us for as many history hikes as you'd like!
