The Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) is Australia's largest youth-led organisation, working with young people aged 12-30 on campaigns to stop fossil fuel projects, hold governments to account on climate change, and transition our energy sources to 100% renewables.
The Student Climate Leadership Program is an intensive training program for high school students interested in getting skilled-up to be an effective leader and campaigner.
The program includes 2x weekend trainings, regular fortnightly sessions (after school hours), one-on-one mentoring to support what students want to achieve in their own schools/communities, hands-on opportunities to apply skills learnt to actual campaigns, and a graduation ceremony.
In 2019, the program will be run twice - in Term 1+2 and again in Term 3+4.
