The SP2 Student Government is organizing an Op-Ed to be submitted to the Daily Pennsylvanian in response to SP2 administration raising tuition in the middle of a pandemic. This tuition hike runs opposite to SP2's values of social justice, which should include economic justice for its own students, many of whom are already suffering in the midst of this global pandemic. We hope by sharing the stories of how this decision and SP2's response at the community meeting is not only insensitive, but an atrocious affront to the whole SP2 student body and will prompt an appropriate response from the administration.
