Sebastopol is aching to have an amazing, weird fall festival, and with your help it's going to be awesome.

What, exactly, is Trashlantis?

Trashlantis is a new community festival where we all play pretend that we live in the ocean and build amazing things from the trash that humans throw away. If you're a "maker", cosplayer, performer, green activist, bike rider, teacher, parent, youth, child, or a vendor or artist making local products from the land or crafted from discards and found objects, if you're concerned about trash in our creeks and greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere, then you are probably already a Trashlantean. Check a few of the following boxes and we'll reach out to you as we get underway on our voyage to Trashlantis!

Part One: The Steeplechase Rally

I want to make an amazing human powered bike thing and ride the rally course

My friends and I want to build a big steeplechase sculpture gate from collected trash for the event
