RSVP: Sex and Gender Complexity

Researchers increasingly recognize how important it is to account for the intersectional complexity of sex and gender. Oversimplified, binary conceptions of sex and gender detract from research quality in ways that can harm those the research takes up, or fails to take up. Join Catherine Clune-Taylor, Agustin Fuentes and Mia Miyagi for a panel discussion of these issues (4:30-6pm, 100 Arthur Lewis Auditorium) sponsored by the Program in Gender and Sexuality Studies, followed by informal mingling over food & refreshments at the Science & Social Justice Salon (6-7:30pm, 056 Bernstein Gallery) hosted by the University Center for Human Values.
