2024 NHS Lions Youth Field Hockey Camp 

Join us for a fun week of field hockey camp!  Coach Gwen Smith (head coach of the NH-S Varsity Field Hockey team) will be hosting a youth field hockey camp at the NHS High School stadium turf field. Campers will have the opportunity to develop and learn field hockey skills while having fun!  Camp counselors will be former and current NH-S field hockey players and coaches! 

Dates:  June 11th - June 14th 2024

Time:  9:00 am - 11:30 am  Tuesday- Friday
           
Ages:  1st grade and up

Where:  New Hope-Solebury High School Stadium Field
               180 West Bridge Street New Hope, PA  18938

Cost:  $110.00 / 1 player

* All Campers need to bring a water bottle, shin guards, mouth guard, and field hockey stick.

* For safety reasons, stick height cannot be higher than the player’s waist when resting on the ground.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT CONCERNING COMMUNICABLE DISEASES In consideration of being allowed to participate, or providing express permission for my child to participate (collectively "Player") in any way in any program, event, or camp activity sponsored by the New Hope-Solebury Field Hockey Program, I the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, give full consent, and give express permission, that:    I am aware there are risks, including exposure to directly or indirectly arising out of, contributed to, by, or resulting from an outbreak of any and all communicable disease, including, but not limited to, the virus “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)”, which is responsible for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and/or any mutation or variation thereof.

As a parent/guardian I also acknowledge that my child (children) will be screened for symptoms of Covid-19 at home by a parent/guardian before I leave for camp and I will not send my child (children) to camp if they have shown any of the following symptoms within 24 hours.  ● Nausea or vomiting  ● Fever greater than 100.4  ● Runny nose  ● Sore throat  ● Shortness of breath  ● Cough  ● Diarrhea  ● Weakness of malaise  ● Headache  ● New loss of taste or smell

I understand that the Player’s participation is completely voluntary.  In consideration of the Player being permitted to participate in the Activity, I, for myself, and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS the New Hope-Solebury Field Hockey Program and their collective officers, officials, employees, agents, coaches, volunteers and representatives (collectively “RELEASES”), from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liability, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to any ILLNESS, INJURY, DISABILITY, OR DEATH that Player may suffer, or the Player’s family member may suffer from exposure to Player, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Further, I agree to cooperate and comply, or I agree to direct the Player to cooperate and comply, with all rules, directions, and instructions of the coaches or other supervisory personnel in charge of the Activity (collectively “Supervisory Personnel”), especially as it relates to following of New Hope-Solebury Field Hockey Program's guidelines (collectively “Guidelines”). I understand that Supervisory Personnel have the authority to remove the Player from the Activity and deny the Player’s participation in the Activity, including during times when the Player fails to comply with such Guidelines.
