The Forum is open to youth in grades 11-12 or post-secondary students who hold Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.This year the in-person Forum will be held in Ottawa, from Sunday, April 30th, 2023 to Friday, May 5th, 2023.
Out of town travel dates are Saturday, April 29th and Saturday, May 6th, 2023. The Program Schedule has additional details on virtual workshop before and after the event.
The total Forum registration fees, which includes some meals, receptions, and a Gala Dinner, are:
- In Town (hosting a delegate): $250
- In Town (not hosting a delegate): $350
- In Town (not hosting a delegate & staying at a hotel): $950
- Out of Town (staying with family or friends, or billeting with a local family): $350
- Out of Town (staying at a hotel): $950
- International Student (staying at a hotel): $1,300 CDN

As in the past, travel to and from Ottawa within Canada is anticipated to be funded through the Government of Canada's Exchanges Canada program. However, since the Exchanges Canada call for applications has been delayed by over 3 months, we might have to delay the date of the NSCF event. All information collected herein is considered private and confidential and is used strictly for the application and/or planning purposes of the 49th National Student Commonwealth Forum. Applications will be considered on a first-come first-serve basis.Factors taken into consideration when accepting delegates include: quality of individual applications, quotas per province/territory and accommodation availability. Due to limited billets availability, Preference will be given to OUT-OF-TOWN delegates that choose to stay in the hotel. Once you have submitted your application, please send an email to registrar@nscf-fnec.ca notifying the registration team of your submission, use the subject line: "I have applied for NSCF". Les dates de voyage hors de la ville sont le samedi 29 avril et le samedi 6 mai 2020. Le calendrier du programme contient des détails supplémentaires sur l'atelier virtuel avant et après l'événement.
Le total des frais d'inscription au Forum, qui comprend certains repas, réceptions et un dîner de gala, est de :
- En ville (accueil d'un délégué) : 250 $
- En ville (n'accueillant pas de délégué) : 350 $
- En ville (n'accueillant pas de délégué et séjournant à l'hôtel) : 950 $
