Join us at ‘Hack the Woods’ - a STEAM and Social Justice Camp at Grizzly Creek Ranch, Portola, California. This is a special opportunity for those who might not have gone camping before nor experienced the Great Outdoors. This event is a way to safely connect, learn STEAM based education and promote Social Justice through the outdoor setting.
The camp is free to participants and the fee of $500 per camper is paid for thanks to a grant from the City of Sacramento.
Participants must be members of Black Youth Leadership Project or Square Root Academy in order to participate in this camp.
This is a coed camp and students are placed based on their age, gender and cabin availability.
Coach bus transportation from Sacramento will be provided. When registering, please indicate whether you’ll need transportation to and from camp.
Completion of this form is required for Scholars to be considered to attend Camp Hack The Woods.
