The Pacific Geospatial Conference is operating a Travel Grant Program (TGP) aimed at increasing the diversity, accessibility, and reach of the conference. We are looking for worthy recipients who are committed to make an impact with the opportunity provided.

If you are interested in applying for a travel grant, please fill out the following form. All information you provide is confidential, and will only be used by the TGP selection committee responsible for assessing applications.

Successful applicants will be provided with free registration to the conference and workshop sessions, plus financial assistance to help cover other eligible expenses. We will issue grants in the following tiers:

  Tier 1: free conference, plus up to FJD 3,000
  Tier 2: free conference, plus up to FJD 1,500
  Tier 3: free conference, plus up to FJD 300
Applicants will only be able to apply for one size of travel grant and are encouraged to apply for the smallest grant that will enable them to attend PGC 2022. Any person applying for more than one grant will be excluded from the application process.

Please note
  • Only residents of Oceania are eligible for travel grants.
  • Eligible travel expenses include travel, accommodation, food and visas (if required).
  • Receipts may be required.
  • You will need to pay for all your expenses up front, and the grants will be provided as a reimbursement on arrival at the conference. If this isn't going to work for you, please let us know.

Applications are welcomed from now until 15 October 2022.
