NWOEA Summer Academy                        Scholarship Application
The 2024 OEA Summer Leadership Academy will convene Thursday, June 20, 2024, through Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the downtown Columbus Hilton Hotel, 402 N High Street., Columbus, OH 43215.  

This conference is designed to help members at all levels of the association realize and develop skills and talents as leaders of their profession and their association, while building relationships and organizing for power. 

The 2024 conference theme is: Learning and Leading: Leveraging Our Power for Public Education

The conference will feature exciting speakers.  Conference attendees will also have networking opportunities, and access to over 30 breakout sessions that will provide learning experiences to support leadership development in the following areas of the NEA Leadership Competency Framework:   
  • Advocacy 
  • Communication
  • Governance and Leadership
  • Leading Our Professions
  • Organizing
  • Social and Emotional Intelligence
  • Strategy and Fiscal Health
