The CCAA Arts Teacher of the Year Award seeks to honor an Elementary, Middle, and High School teacher in an arts discipline who exemplifies excellence in arts education. The objective of the program is to honor three of Charles County's hardworking arts educators with the recognition and financial support they deserve, as they guide their students despite continuing uncertain and stressful circumstances.

Nominations may be self-submitted, or submitted by the teacher’s current or former students, parents of those students, the teacher’s professional colleagues, or a school administrator.

Nominees will be notified in February.
