Established in 2023, the DREAMer Resource Center is a supportive space for DREAMers and allies at PSU. Collectively, we work to support DREAMers through 1:1 support in navigating PSU resources to achieve academic and professional goals, foster resilience and persistence through hosting relevant workshops addressing DREAMer needs in higher education, and community building to increase the sense of belonging and support for everyone, regardless of immigration status or experience.

As a new program, we rely on our partnerships within PSU and the broader Portland Metro community to reduce barriers toward success as scholars and future professionals. Your support and interest in volunteering are deeply appreciated and integral to ensuring DREAMers and allies have the resources, connections, and opportunities to envision a life of their design.

Our focus areas include:

Immigration Information and pathways to citizenship
Entrepreneurship and employment opportunities for DREAMer college graduates
Funding and college success (applying for scholarships, grants, and other resources)
Financial health and budgeting
Self-care and resiliency
Advocacy and community organizing
