Cancellation Policy:

Please understand that our programs have limited capacity due to our Covid-19 policy and Statewide mandates and many of our programs sell out quickly. For this reason, we respectfully request that if you must cancel, you do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled program in order to receive a full refund. This will allow us to offer your spot to another family on our waitlist. You may call us at 937-545-9579 between the hours of 8am to 5pm to cancel or send an email at info@theroamingnaturalist.org.

As a small business, we appreciate and rely on your support; we also understand that conflicts can arise and are out of our control. If the 48 hour window has passed, we would like to give you the option of crediting your payment toward another program of your choice.

Please note that all programs will take place rain or shine. We will only cancel in the case of severe weather conditions or other unforeseen emergencies beyond our control. In this case, you will have the option of receiving a refund or crediting your payment towards the rain date or other program of your choice.

Covid-19 Policy:

Your safety is our top priority. We have implemented strict safeguards to help protect our staff, program participants, and public park visitors from COVID-19 based on the most current federal and state guidelines.

At this time, all staff and participants are required to wear masks during programs and when we are unable to maintain a six-foot distance from others. In addition, we will be taking the following precautions:

Hand sanitizer will be provided at the beginning of each program
Groups will not exceed 12 participants.

For After-school Adventure Team and Story time + Nature Play programs: We will not be providing food/beverages at this time, but children may bring their own.

If you are experiencing a cold, COVID-related symptoms or if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, we ask that you please stay home and contact us to explore your cancellation options.
