The HR Award Questionnaire
Dear CTU employee,

The main aim of this survey is to find out to which extend the basic principles of the European Charter for Researchers are implemented at CTU. Your marking scale is from 1 (fully implemented) to 5 (not implemented at all).

The OBJECTIVE of the HR Award is to ensure that the University has formal processes that guarantee that every employee, especially a new one, is given all information necessary to WORK EFFECTIVELY and EFFICIENTLY, and to know  about his/her RIGHTS and RESPONSIBILITIES.

Your assessment should not reflect your awareness or knowledge of the particular topic or principle, but rather the quality of the process at your faculty or institute  ensuring that every relevant employee has been made aware of the issue, has been provided the relevant information or has been properly trained.

This questionnaire survey is anonymous. Please, fill in the information about your position and gender, the result of the survey must be structured accordingly.  If you want to allow us to contact you to ask more about your feedback, please provide your email. Textual comments can be inserted in the text box at the end of the section - please indicate the question number the comment refers to.

Formally, the HR Award is granted to universities that adopt, and gradually implement,  the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment.

The European Charter for Researchers "is a set of general principles and requirements which specifies the roles, responsibilities and entitlements of researchers as well as of employers and/or funders of researchers. The aim of the Charter is to ensure that the nature of the relationship between researchers and employers of funders is conducive to successful performance in generating, transferring, sharing and dissemination knowledge and technological development, and to the career development of researchers".

The Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers "consists of a set of general principles and requirements that should be followed by employers and / or funders when appointing or recruiting researchers. These principles and requirements should ensure observance of values such as transparency of the recruitment process and equal treatment of all applicants, in particular with regard to the development of an attractive, open and sustainable European labour market for researchers, and are complementary to those outlined in the European Charter for Researchers".
