Covid-19 Parental Partnership Declaration
On our return to school, our main priority will be the health and safety of all pupils and staff and their respective families. We will be implementing a range of precautionary procedures in school and ask that parents work in honest, transparent partnership with us, to help us to safeguard everyone in our school community from the risk of coronavirus. The best way to prevent the spread of coronavirus within our school, is for anyone who shows symptoms of Covid-19 / suspects that they may have contracted the virus, to stay at home until they have been tested / until the end of the 14 day quarantine period. Please read and acknowledge the following protocols and submit this declaration before your child's first day back at school. One submission per family is sufficient. In anticipation, we thank you for your co-operation. Go raibh maith agaibh!

Names and classes of children in family (Mary Boyle - Rang 3)
I will check my child's temperature and general well-being every morning before sending them to school.
If my child has a high temperature, I will not send them to school and will seek medical advice / Covid-19 test.
If my child displays symptoms of Covid-19 (a new cough, high temperature, loss of smell / taste), I will not send them (or their siblings) to school and will seek medical advice / covid 19 test.
If any member of my household or anyone that our family has been in close contact with displays symptoms of Covid-19 (a new cough, high temperature, loss of smell / taste), I will not send my child / children to school until we will seek medical advice / Covid-19 test.
If I have been on a foreign holiday to Spain or France or to any other country on the PHA list, I will not send my child / children to school until the 14 day quarantine period is up.
I will adhere to the staggered arrival and collection times and ensure that I arrive and exit the school grounds promptly.
On school grounds, I will respect the 2m social distancing guidance between adults, especially on arrival to school and at home-time.
If I need to speak with my child's class teacher / member of the Naíscoil staff, I will phone the office to arrange a time to speak with them on the phone. In exceptional circumstances, face to face appointments can be arranged by ringing the school secretary, but can only be facilitated after the children go home each day, due to limited space.
I will make sure that my child wears a clean uniform every day.
All children will be asked to sanitise their hands on arrival each morning and will wash their hands at regular intervals throughout the day.
If my child becomes ill during the day, I will be contacted by phone and asked to collect my child. If I cannot make it to the school within 15 mins, I will nominate another trusted person to collect my child.
If my child becomes sick at school, a member of staff will take their temperature, using a hand-held infrared thermometer.
If my child becomes ill at school, they will be cared for by a member of staff (who will wear PPE) in a separate room, until they can be collected.
If one child in my family presents  with symptoms of coronavirus during the school day, all children in my family will be sent home from school to seek medical advice / Covid-19 testing.
I will ensure that my contact details and the details of those people named on the collection policy are kept up to date and accurate.
