The Social Engineering Project, Inc. is Oakland based social impact venture with Stanford University designed to address the lack of diversity in the tech industry. We are looking for organizations, companies and/or ERGs, to develop and facilitate interactive hands on virtual workshops on some of the technologies used at their companies. For example, here's Zynga's Game Design Workshop
https://youtu.be/_O1RU5uqaRI.
The goal is to expose approximately 50 underrepresented high school students of color to your company's products/services, encourage, and inspire them to pursue a similar career. Since all workshops will be virtual, they will most likely occur one Saturday during the month of October under this format: Part 1 - Overview and Instruction, Part 2 - Collaborative Lab, Part 3 - Slide Deck Presentation. The top 4 workshops will be selected. Please contact Kevin@TheSocialEngineer.org if you have any questions and for a detailed summary of the camp please visit
