Maverick Movement Scholarship Application
The Maverick Movement, a non-profit organization, will award two $2,000.00 scholarships,
($1,000 per semester for the first academic year) to two Hidalgo County High School Seniors upon acceptance from a college or university of their choice. The students should exhibit outstanding scholastic and leadership ability including extra-curricular and civic activities and preferably be pursuing a degree in Education, Business,
Science and Engineering, Medical and/or Public Service.

A complete application should be received no later than April 30, 2024

If awarded, funding will be sent directly to the Office of Financial Aid of the college/university on the student’s behalf. $1,000.00 will be awarded at the beginning of the Fall and Spring Semesters of the student’s first year for a total scholarship award of $2,000.00.
