Belle Isle Nature Walk & Talk - Sunday, December 29 @ 10:30am
The Ferndale Elementary Connections Group is partnering with the Belle Isle Nature Center to provide a guided nature walk through Belle Isle. Join us as we explore Belle Isle on foot and enjoy the wonders of winter. Belle Isle is home to foxes, deer, bald eagles, hawks, and more—we might get to see some as we hike. All ages and abilities are welcome. Connect with other FPS families and enjoy one of Detroit's gems!

Meet at the 10:30am on Sunday, December 29 at the Belle Isle Nature Center (176 Lakeside Drive, Detroit, MI 48207 | 313-852-4056).

For more information, contact Christine MacDonald via text/email at martinhouse248@gmail.com or 313-418-2149. If you need a transportation, we can connect you for a possible ride share.

This is not a drop-off event, students must be accompanied by an adult.

Please let us know if you'll be joining us!

BONUS: The Belle Isle Aquarium, Greenhouse, and Museum will all be open on Sunday, so feel free to visit after the hike.
