Huntington Children’s Museum is teaming up with Marshall University’s Office of Student Affairs to host our second annual SandFest! On Sunday, September 10, Marshall University organizations, local businesses, and community members will compete in a tabletop sand sculpture competition to see who will win THE GOLDEN SHOVEL. In addition to the competition and beach atmosphere, families can expect a sand pit, sandcastle making stations, STEAM activities and more! It’s going to be a ton of fun for all ages!
Volunteers are needed to help plan and carryout the event! Thank you in advance for signing up to volunteer. The event will take place from 3 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, September 10. Volunteer shifts are from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
