Criteria and Expectations
1. Student must be a senior and enrolled in six classes, four of which are counted in GPA.
2. Student must have at least a B average.
3. Student must be in good standing at school with no Saturday Detentions or Suspensions.
4. Student must agree to a Code of Conduct and abide by it. Violation of the Code of Conduct will mean dismissal as a teacher assistant and placement back into PE or study hall.
5. No credit or grade will be awarded, but teacher assistant will be recorded on student's transcript.
6. Teacher assistant responsibilities will vary, but may include: running paper copier, organizing teacher materials, tutoring students in class, classroom straightening, and picking up the classroom.
7. There will be only one student per teacher per semester allowed. Students will be assigned to teachers on a first-come basis.
8. It is the student's responsibility to contact the teacher and to work out the details of the agreement.
