VASJ’s Office of Alumni Relations is seeking 1-2 alumni from each St. Joseph High School, Villa Angela Academy and VASJ class to serve as representatives! Class representatives play a crucial role in keeping fellow classmates connected to and engaged with their alma mater.
1. Act as a liaison between your class and the VASJ Office of Alumni Relations. The primary route for communication from the office will be via email.
2. Assist with gathering and maintaining class contact information, reaching out to lost alumni, and encouraging classmates to share their good news and accomplishments as Class Notes for the VASJ Magazine.
3. Promote events and programs for alumni, including but not limited to: All-Alumni Reunion, class reunions, career nights, etc.
4. Support class reunion committee members by helping to obtain contact information, assisting with communication efforts, deciding on a class gift, and encouraging attendance. It is not mandatory for class reps to be part of the reunion committee, though they are expected to offer assistance where needed.
5. Help to promote major fundraising initiatives, including #weGiveCatholic, Continue the Dream gala and Annual Fund appeals.
6. Be an ambassador for Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in the community.
