Reach High is an adult enrichment program designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The goal of the program is for Villagers to reach their full potential through prevocational, educational, social, spiritual, and physical activities. Villagers will become more independent while engaging in creative activities that will benefit their daily living skills.
Dream Big is an adult enrichment program designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities who require increased assistance, resources and staff to achieve their full potential. Dream Big's overall goal is to provide a highly individualized enrichment program for each Villager while helping them become more independent and involved in the community.
Reach High Program Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Dream Big Program Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
*Please note that you most pay for the full four day week even if your Villager will not attend each day*
A calendar will be provided with holidays and other program breaks.
Program Requirements: - Must be 18 years of age or older and must complete the admission process in order to determine program eligibility.
- Must have a primary diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability
- Be independent in mobility and the basic activities of daily living skills OR have an attendant who can assist them
- Be free of physically aggressive and threatening behaviors.
High Point Village believes that a positive and constructive working relationship between Program Coordinators and caregivers/guardians is essential for the success of the Villager. Direct communication is encouraged and we ask that you discuss concerns directly with the Program Director or with Program Coordinators. We maintain an open door policy and are committed to the success of each Villager and the program as a whole.
