This training meets all ICDVP (Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professionals) and IDVA (Illinois Domestic Violence Act) guidelines. All sessions must be fully attended in order to receive a certificate. Family Rescue is approved as a 20-Hour Virtual/20-Hour In Person Domestic Violence Training Site by ICDVP (SOURCE).

Registration is first come, first serve. Limited capacity available.

Food: Lunch is not provided. Participants are welcome to bring a packed lunch or go out to eat and come back. There is a Popeyes, Wendy's, Subway, and Checkers nearby. Participants are also welcome to use the fridge, oven, microwave, or toaster oven at the administration office. They can also help themselves to coffee and tea in the kitchen.

Transportation: There is plenty of free parking available around the office, including in front of the building and on side streets on the same side of the building (by the Dunkin Donuts) and across the street. The office is also very close to the 28 bus Stony Island and 88th Street stop. It is about a 10-minute walk to the 15 bus Jeffery and 88th Street stop. 

Bathrooms: The closest bathroom to the training room is a large single-user gender-neutral bathroom. Further away, there are two other smaller single-user gender-neutral bathrooms as well as a multi-user women's bathroom. The training room and bathrooms are all on the ground floor of the building.

Payment: 

Unless I am a staff member or have been accepted as an intern or volunteer, I agree to pay Family Rescue $250 if I am attending all 40 hours or $125 if I took the ICADV modules beforehand and am just attending the 20-hour-total in-person sessions.

I acknowledge that the applicable amount in full is due by the start of the first session of the training at the absolute latest. I recognize that if I have not paid for the training by then, I will not be allowed to attend any sessions. 

I recognize that if I have been accepted as a volunteer/intern but then fail to complete at least 13 service hours OR I get terminated as a volunteer/intern following the completion of the training, that I will receive an invoice for $250. This invoice will be due upon receipt. I agree to pay this invoice.

I understand my payment options include mailing Family Rescue a check or money order made out to Family Rescue or paying through the donation square site link off the Family Rescue website, and putting "May DV 40 HR Training" in the seller note.
