Thank you for your interest in running as a candidate for the SECIA Board of Directors.

The SECIA Board of Directors is responsible for the overall policy, direction, and work of the organization, and reports its activities to the community at its regular meetings.

Candidate applications for the Board of Directors may be submitted by completing this optional form. (Alternatively, candidate applications may be mailed to: SECIA, P.O. Box 18460, Minneapolis, MN 55418, or can be shared verbally in a phone call to 612-685-0371. Or an eligible member may declare their candidacy at the meeting when the annual election begins or the special election takes place.)

SECIA Board members are elected two ways, as outlined in the SECIA Bylaws:

1) Open Board seats are filled by a membership vote at the SECIA Annual Meeting (Sec. V(G)); and

2) Board vacancies are filled as needed through a Special Election by the existing Board (Sec. V (J))
