Tracee Mawyer: I was interested in being a part of your school site council, because I am the type of person that really likes to be involved and be a team player. I usually put myself in 100% and beyond. When my son attended Catherine Everett elementary, I was very involved in many communities... starting with PTA. I was on the board with PTA for about 6 years and school site council over there for about 4 years. I was a part of the PIE committee for about 2 years and I’ve also been a part of the PBIS team over there from day one. I reached out to be a part of the LCFF committee this last year and really enjoyed it. I also have been a part of the safety committee at Everett as well. So it does seem like a lot, but I love it. Now with our schools being changed the way they are, I’m hoping to try and stay connected and would like to learn more about Roosevelt’s school site. I believe in helping to guide all of our school kids to learn more. Well, with that being said, I’m hoping you will choose me as your next board member. And if not, it’s ok. I would still love to help out at Roosevelt if and when needed.
