This is a submission form for any stand up comedians who are interested in performing on the monthly show Optimism! at Siren Theater every 2nd Thursdays 8PM in Portland, OR. This show is a high energy show and looking for folks who shows examples of that and down for fun and twists! This is a part game show where audience members has a chance to win prizes and comics has a chance to participate in between sets. Because this is a monthly show, selection is limited. Please read below for qualifications:
Opener: 7 minutes ($30)
Feature (2): 10 minutes ($40 each)
Headliner: 15-20 ($100)
To be considered to be on the show, we are looking for the following:
Must have a strong 5-7 minutes at least (providing tape)
Professionalism - Good etiquette with and around other comics and audience members.
Presence - looking for comics who are creating a following or has a following with comedy fans within the community. Seasoned comics to veterans would be the range since it is a monthly show.
Promoting - I need comics who can promote the show by sharing promo clips/pictures or info.
