As we have seen a slight surge in COVID cases across the state, we have also seen cases in our student enrollment in CISD. While we appreciate the fact that you call us to let us know your particular situation, we are asking you to not call the school or text CISD staff on weekends, after hours or school holidays to report COVID positive results.

We ask that you fill out this form https://forms.gle/jJRXeLmcrvLsnQZCA and the appropriate staff member will call you during school hours to discuss the situation with you personally. This will include the date of return, with the understanding that positive COVID test will require a quarantine period of 10 days. In the event of a close contact incident, living in the house with a COVID positive person, etc., those individuals may continue to attend class as long as they are able to isolate from the COVID positive person AND remain symptom free. In this case, ISOLATE means to not share common spaces and especially bathrooms.

All phone calls and emails will be answered the same day or the next business day, depending on the time the call is received, in the order in which they are received.
