Children 17 and under are not allowed in the weight room unless supervised by a parent/guardian or waiver has been signed by a parent/guardian.
If children 17 and under are in the weight room because parent/guardian participates in an activity or open workout the parent/guardian must still supervise their child/ren. The child/ren must remain in the same room as the parent/guardian and can not freely roam the building.
Tyson Activity Center nor its employees are responsible for lost or stolen property.
Spotters are required for all over head lifts.
No food, drinks, or chewing gum are allowed in the weight room. Exception is bottled water in an unbreakable container.
All bars, weights and dumbbells must be returned to the proper plate holder or rack after use.
No equipment shall leave the weight room at any time. Unless by staff members.
Closed-toe athletic shoes must be worn at all times (no metal buckles or latches allowed).
Items that may damage the equipment upholstery may not be worn. (i.e. jewelry, jeans, etc.).
Respect for equipment, facilities and staff must be demonstrated at all times.
Gym is available (if not in use for another event) for walking/running to warm up and/or cool down and utilizing the restroom only.
