EU-Commission:
The Regional representation of the European Commission in Bonn which is acting as an observer of the political dynamic in Germany for the European Union policy-makers will host an informative session during the ICYA. A general overview about the European institutions and the Commission will be presented. This overview will be followed by a presentation of the Green Deal, the farm-to-fork-strategy and the Common Agricultural Policy.
CGIAR (Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research):
CGIAR delivers critical science and innovation to feed the world and end inequality. Its original mission – to solve hunger – is expanding to address wider 21st century challenges, with the aim of transforming the world’s food, land, and water systems in a climate crisis. For the ICYA, CGIAR's delegate will host a session on how to connect science to policy-making through her experience in sustainable development & climate change adaptation assessment and reporting.
