Some insight to how this playlist works: if the woman artist you're recommending is dark- or brown-skinned, and their music is good (objectively — not just because *I* say so, bc who tf am I?), then she'll go on the playlist. I don't care if she has five streams or 100 million.

Additionally, please keep in mind that this is an R&B-only playlist. I want to highlight women from this current generation of R&B, so please don't come at me talkin' about Brandy or Kelly Rowland, because they're not in *this* generation of R&B (even tho we stan).

Examples of women in this generation are: SZA, Nao, Justine Skye. Examples of women in a past generation: the lovely ladies I just mentioned earlier.
