BBR - Nursery Wait List Application
Hello! Thank you for your interest in our bunnies!  Our goal is to place our bunnies in the best possible homes that will provide them with long term, happy, healthy homes. It is very important that families read over our page, including our FAQ page and blog posts, prior to completing our application.  It is packed full of information that will help answer many questions families have. We do have a unique waitlist/adoption process from other rabbitries. Once you have done so, we invite you to complete our Waitlist Application.

A few notes that will help make this process smoother:

1.Please fill out the application completely. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will be automatically denied without notification.

2. PLEASE ENSURE YOU TYPE YOUR EMAIL CORRECTLY AS ALL COMMUNICATION IS DONE VIA EMAIL. This is   very important to ensure you receive communication from us about available bunnies.  It also helps us track our customers.

3. Please only submit one application.  If you have submitted an application and have a question, please email us.

4. Once you are done submitting your application, please close out the web browser tab.  We have found when tabs are left open, duplicate applications will be submitted under your name.

We review wait list applications weekly. All approved applications will receive a confirmation email within 3-5 BUSINESS days from submission date. Once we review the application we will remail all approved families a confirmation email that they have been added to our waitlist. Please note, not all applications submitted will be approved.  We have to ensure our bunnies are going to the best possible homes with the care they need.

Can you afford the monthly supplies necessary to care for your bunny? On average, a family will spend $75-150 monthly on supplies. *
Can you afford the initial cost of bunny supplies to ensure your bunny will have everything they need? On average, a family will spend $300-600 on initial supplies. *
Can you afford to pay for emergency care for your bunny? This can run $300 to $1000+ depending on the type of emergency. *
It is recommend that pet bunnies be spayed/neutered between 5-6 months old. Are you willing AND able to get your pet bunny spayed/neutered? On average the cost is $150-$250 for neuter and $200-$400 for spay. *
Will your bunny be left alone and unattended for more than 10 hours a day? *
Bunnies can live up to 10 years.  Are you committed to providing your bunny a lifelong home? *
Do you have any other pets in the home? Please let types of pets. If you have another bunny, are they currently spayed or neutered? *
If you rent/lease your home, do you have approval to have a pet bunny?

Families are required to communicate with us on a monthly basis to maintain their spot on the Nursery Waitlist. If communication is not maintained, families will be removed from the list without notice.   *
It is highly recommended that families save our email address, info@baileybunniesrabbitry.com, to their email contact list.  This will help to ensure that our emails do not go to your spam folder. We are not liable if our emails go to your spam folder. *
On average, our waitlist is a 2-3 month wait.  We try to work through our waitlist quickly, but we are completely at the mercy of nature.  With that said, we do not accept monetary gifts to move families up the list. We want our process to be fair for all families. *
