FOSO Student survey: studying in times of the coronavirus
The student representatives of the Faculty of Social Sciences of KU Leuven want to hear from you! We notice that there are many concerns, questions, remarks,... about the current situation, and we would like to offer an extra listening ear as some situations are easier to explain to fellow students. Many have contacted us by mail, Facebook or through individual student representatives, but we would like to offer a way to submit cases completely anonymously.

Instead of a long list of many closed and open questions, we offer you the opportunity to write everything you want to say, anonymously, in three text boxes below! We will try to make an abstract of all anonymous messages that you submit and bring them to the faculty as much as possible. Unfortunately, we can't solve every situation ourselves as a representative (or faculty), but that way our faculty knows more about the situation and will hopefully be able to take it into account to a certain extent.

Suppose you have a particular question and/or remark (e.g. about a course), then you can provide your name and/or contact information at the end. We will try to contact you as soon as possible. You can also still send an email to your student representatives via the email address info@foso.be or contact a student representative of your study programme directly (the names can be found on our website, namely www.foso.be/studentenvertegenwoordigers).

This survey was drawn up by the student representation organisations FOSO, Calesa (Antwerp) and Politika (Leuven).

Questions/remarks relating to education
Everything you want to say about distance learning (online lectures, live lessons via Skype, replacement assignments in the form of papers or other tasks, online contact with professors/assistants,...), how the study goes (less/more time needed to understand and/or rehearse, whether you can maintain a certain pace in watching lessons and making assignments, problems you experience while studying,...), specific things about a course and other things.
Questions/remarks concerning the block and examination period
Everything you want to say about (concerns regarding) the block and exam period, how you expect your exams to go (with regard to a "normal" year), what you think of your rearranged IES, whether you have certain expectations of the communication and way of working during the spread exam moments,....
Additional questions/remarks
We also just want to give you the option of mentioning things that don't fall into the top two categories. This can be about, but is not limited to, for example, the communication of the Flemish Government, KU Leuven, our faculty and us as student representatives. Are there any ambiguities about, for example, the Erasmus opportunities or arrangements for international students? Would you like to say things anonymously about your own situation and how you experience it? Have you missed things you would like to have seen?
Would you like to be contacted by us regarding a question or remark? Put your question and email address here
Do you still have extra questions you'd like an answer to, but don't know where exactly to get it? Give us your contact information, and we will contact you ASAP!
