Your Financial Life from a Biblical Perspective (HCC’s Biblical Finance Class)
This class will help you lay a strong biblical foundation to build your financial life through biblical wisdom and practical knowledge. We will assign videos and readings to review each week before class and then spend most of the class time for discussion and Q&A. Topics include Stewardship, Planning, Budgeting, Debt, Spending, Housing, Insurance, College Savings, Investing, and Retirement, with other topics by special request. This is an ideal class for those starting or early in their working careers, and those in the "Young Family" life stage. We will meet Sunday afternoons from 1:30 to 2:30pm. There will be thirteen classes in total with the first class starting on 3/7.

God’s Big Picture: Tracing the Storyline of the Bible (Vaughn Roberts)
This book club will read and discuss Vaughan Roberts’ God's Big Picture. Reading the Bible can be difficult because we don't see how different passages fit together. For instance why does Genesis begin talking about humanity and then focus on the family of Abraham? Why is the tabernacle or temple important for us as believers when such a structure no longer exists? Sometimes, we need to zoom out in our Bible reading to see how the various passages fit into God’s overall story. Join us to discover God's big picture, and we trust that you’ll be blessed. We will be reading through the version published by IVP in 2002. It is sold on Amazon for $11.62 and 10ofThose.com for $13.60. We will meet Sunday evenings starting on 3/7 at 8:00pm.

The Blessing: Giving the Gift of Unconditional Love & Acceptance (John Trent)
The approval of our parents affects not only how we view ourselves but also our ability to pass that approval along to our children, spouses, and friends. Children of every age long for the gift of the Blessing, and the great news is that there is a clear and easy way we can bless others, even if we never received the Blessing ourselves. Come and learn how to give the gift of unconditional love and acceptance to those around you. We will be reading the 2019 edition (ISBN 978-0-7852-2905-6). 7 Myths about Singleness (Sam AllBerry)
Much of what we commonly assume about singleness—that it is primarily about the absence of good things like intimacy, family, or meaningful ministry—is either flat-out untrue or, at the very least, shouldn’t be true. To be single, we often think, is to be alone and spiritually hindered. But the Bible paints a very different picture of singleness: it is a positive gift and blessing from God. This book seeks to help Christians—married and unmarried alike—value singleness as a gift from God so that we can all encourage singles to take hold of the unique opportunities their singleness affords and see their role in the flourishing of the church as a whole. 7 Myths about Singleness is sold on Amazon for $11.99 and 10ofThose.com for $10.49. We will meet on Tuesday nights at 8:00pm.

Facilitators: Derek and Constance Le

None Greater: The Undomesticated Attributes of God (Matthew Barrett)
A.W. Tozer says, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." Unfortunately, even many Christians think we comprehend God pretty well or think of God as someone who is a bigger, stronger, more righteous version of us. However, Psalm 50:21 says, "These things you have done, and I have been silent; you thought I was like one like yourself." If you want to enlarge your conception of God, leading to greater awe, worship, and love for Him, join us as we read Dr. Matthew Barrett’s book, "None Greater"! The book is sold on Amazon for $14.51 We will meet on Thursday nights from 8:30 to 9:30pm.
