WHAT’S IN A NAME?
At some point in our lives the conversation comes around to strange and unusual names.  We’ve all heard of someone who knows someone who we “can’t believe their parents named them that!”  Author Paul Dickinson has made, not only a hobby, but a living collecting unusual monikers. He wrote a book simply entitled “Names,” where he  shared stories of the weird where names are concerned.
In 1941, there were two men in Florida who had been sent to the electric chair, and their names were Will Burn and Frizzle.  Dickinson also shared the untimely fate of a window washer who fell to his death. His name?  Will Drop.  Then there were the two police officers who worked as partners on the force. Their names?  Goforth and Ketchum.
Perhaps your name doesn’t lend itself to fully describe you or what you will ultimately become but when you say the name of GOD, you’ve said a mouthful!!!  In fact, God is SO immense in every way that the Scripture (in Hebrew and Greek) has no less than 100 names for God that describe a different part of His character.  Here is just a few of His lesser known names:
Your name may not describe you. You may think that it doesn’t even suit you. However, when people say your name they are actually thinking about your character.
List some of the character traits that you believe people think of when they hear your name.
