Timeline:
  • The deadline for applying for the Fall 2024 cohort is May 19, 2024. We send out acceptances on a rolling basis, so you will have a better chance of securing a spot if you apply sooner.

  • We are aiming to send out all acceptances into the cohort by June 21, 2024.

  • Once you are offered a spot, you will have one week to confirm and send payment to secure your spot. If we do not hear from you by this time, we will offer your spot to another interested participant (unless otherwise discussed with the instructors).

  • We are also able to negotiate a payment plan if needed. Scholarships are available for a limited number of participants who would not be able to attend without financial assistance. We are not offering specific discounts for pre-licensed people at this time. Please contact us to inquire about scholarship options.

  • If you are unable to attend the training, we can offer a full refund if canceled by July 12, 2024. We can offer a 50% refund between July 13 to August 9, 2024. There will be no refunds on or after August 10, 2024.

Please keep in mind that spaces are limited (up to 24-30 participants), and for most cohorts we have over 100 applicants. We are committed to creating a space that is diverse across race and gender, so we prioritize BIPOC and/or trans applicants. If you do not participate in this training, we will keep you in mind for the next cycle of training that we do.

CE UNITS: We are able to offer 33 CE units (for psychologists, social workers, licensed counselors, MFTs) out of 36 course hours. Those interested in CEs will be charged an additional $30 processing fee. All CE processing and invoicing will be managed by The Affirmative Couch. The Affirmative Couch, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Affirmative Couch, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content. We recommend that you check with your state board as to whether APA sponsored CEs will count for your license.
