Spring 2023 Driver Education at PHCS
We are in the process of filling our Driver Education class for the Spring 2023 semester. You must hold a valid NYS permit or license to take the course.  Please read the entire form, discuss it with a parent, and complete the necessary questions.  THIS FORM MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE JANUARY 13TH, 2023. 

Filling out this form does not guarantee a spot in the class, but you cannot be in the class if you do not fill out this form.  You should be notified around January 20th if you are accepted into the Driver Ed class, or placed on the wait list, as we can only enroll 16 students.  

All students are required to take the lecture portion of the class with Mrs. Marsh.  The lecture will take place at 4:15 pm on Mondays, beginning on January 30th.  You will also need to complete driving sessions with Mrs. Marsh on either Mondays or Tuesdays  (exact dates and times will be assigned after the form is submitted).  You will also need to log driving hours with a parent throughout the semester to support your driving experience.

The class runs from Monday, January 30 through Tuesday, June 6th and meets on Mondays and Tuesdays.  Please see the schedule above for the exact dates.  You are only allowed one absence, that must be made up, to receive DMV credit.  Are you available for all class periods during this time?

You will need to be at school on the scheduled Mondays for lecture at 4:15 pm. You will also need to be present for a driving group (either on Monday or Tuesday; exact days and times will be given to each student). Do you have transportation to make it to class and driving sessions?
