Wood Stove: Leave coals/ashes in the stove. Do not remove hot coals/ashes. Make sure lever at the front bottom is all the way to the left (open +).
Bedroom Heater: Make sure the thermostat is turned OFF.
Do all your dishes. They may be left to dry in the drainer rack in the sink.
Make sure cook stove burners and oven are turned off. Clean stove top.
Sweep floors.
Vacuum Rugs.
Replace blue-ice packs in cooler outside or in snow if they don't fit.
Leave all bedroom doors open.
Make sure bathroom and shower are clean.
Leave bathroom door open.
Close the door between the kitchen and back room.
Write about your stay in the journal.
LEAVE NO TRACE: You must carry out all your garbage, including food scraps. Paper towels and tissues may be burnt in the woodstove.
