At We Can’t Wait, we’re hacking investing and philanthropy, inspiring people to respond to our climate emergency at the scope, scale, and speed it demands.
We believe organizations, companies, and campaigns can and must do more to scale up efforts to meet the urgency of the climate crisis, and that to do so, they need to raise their fundraising goals ten-fold. Concomitantly, this must be matched by supporters increasing their giving by 10X. We Can't Wait is bringing together potential donors and investors to do just that: give more now to the organization they already support or that they discover through We Can't Wait.
The We Can’t Wait Pledge
Investors — invest more now in transformative climatetech startups and other companies that can quickly scale impactful solutions that mitigate or draw down emissions. Then, match your investment up to 1:1 with strategic donations (see below).
Philanthropists — donate more now, up to 10x this year, to the most impactful non-profit organizations and campaigns. This includes organizations focused on climate justice, workforce development, and policy advocacy that expand markets for climate solutions and support the startup ecosystems where we invest, as well as supporting WeCW’s core team.
