UTRGV School of Music Auditions for admission are now accepted via live audition or via video audition.

ADMISSION DEADLINES
-For Spring 2024 (January 2024) Admission Only, submit this form with your video audition link or request live audition with faculty by no later than December 15, 2023 at 11:59 PM

-For Fall 2024 (August 2024) Music Scholarship Consideration, audition live by March 9th, 2024, OR submit this form with your video audition link by no later than March 9th, 2024 at 11:59 PM

-For Fall 2024 (August 2024) Admission Only (without music scholarship consideration), audition by appointment with School of Music faculty, or submit this form with your video audition link, by no later than August 1st, 2024 at 11:59 PM

If you would like to audition IN PERSON for fall admittance, please choose 1 of the following dates. About a week before your selected date, you will be contacted via email with further instructions.

INSTRUCTIONS: To submit a recorded audition: include the link to one video, or if your audition is in more than one video, please create a playlist, and include the playlist link in the space below. You are welcome to use any recording device you have available (including your phone) to make your video. Be sure that you are clearly visible in the video recording. Include all audition requirements in your video or playlist, with the exception of sight-reading, if you see that listed. Sight-reading may be requested at a later time. You can review the audition requirements for your instrument on the link above. Recording deadlines can be found at the top of this form. For instrumentalists, be sure both hands, as well as your face, are visible in the video. For vocalists, you must be visible from the knees up, and your repertoire must be memorized.
