I believe in a growth mindset for both myself and my students. I critically reflect and examine upon my own implicit biases and erroneous thinking. I am committed to improving myself to ensure that I create a welcoming environment for all students. I believe computer science education is for everyone and hope to make my classes accessible for all.

I’m sorry if I made you feel disrespected and did not create a safe learning space for you. I recognize it is not your duty to "educate" me, but I appreciate you sharing your experience here and helping me to become more aware.
