Fan Culture and Transmedia Storytelling in the Kingdom Hearts Franchise

For my final year at Norwich University of the Arts, I will be writing my dissertation on the fan culture and transmedia storytelling of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. 

Transmedia storytelling, as defined by Henry Jenkins, is "storytelling [that] represents a process where integral elements of a fiction get dispersed systematically across multiple delivery channels for the purpose of creating a unified and coordinated entertainment experience. Ideally, each medium makes it own unique contribution to the unfolding of the story." - Read more here: Henry Jenkins Transmedia Storytelling

This questionnaire will investigate personal experiences with the franchise. Questions will include (but are not limited to): When you got into the series, personal opinions on different entries into the franchise, your thoughts on the novels, and thoughts on fanfiction.

 All data collected will be anonymous and will only be used for the purpose of research into the proposed topic. Some questions will be marked as required; however more personal questions will be left as optional.
