I must take steps to stay well, stop the spread of COVID-19, protect the CCCB community, and promote a safe return to campus for Students, Faculty, and Staff. I promise to be responsible for my own health and help stop the spread of COVID-19

By engaging in campus activities, like attending classes and activities, living on campus, eating in the dining halls and participating in sports and recreation, I realize I can never be completely shielded from all risk of illness caused by COVID-19 and other infections despite all reasonable efforts by the college as it follows guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health departments.

It is my promise to help protect myself, my peers, and the College community by committing to these things:

- Testing for COVID-19 and potential subsequent self-quarantining if I am identified as having made contact with anyone who has been determined to be positive for COVID-19.

- Self-quarantining in a designated location if I test positive for COVID-19. I will not return to in-person classes and campus activities until my symptoms have resolved, and it has been at least 10 days since the start of my symptoms, and I have a negative COVID-19 test result.

- Reporting known or potential exposures to COVID-19 to my RD, or another Student Development Staff Member in a timely manner.

- Monitoring myself for a fever of 100.4℉  or higher, respiratory symptoms (such as dry cough or shortness of breath), sore throat, headache, body aches, chills, or a loss of taste or smell.

- Staying home or in my room if I feel sick.

- Following the College's guidelines for face coverings.

- Practicing physical distancing as much as possible.

- Frequently washing or sanitizing my hands.

- Keeping my belongings, personal space, and shared common space clean and disinfected.
