◾Class description
(*Long pants and socks recommended for floor-work movements.)
sarAika's Reflective Floorwork Methodology 2-hour class is perfect for those looking to strengthen their foundation in floorwork. Our focus is on safe and efficient methods of floor movement, utilizing joint efficiency and momentum to maximize your body's potential. We'll teach you how to add fluidity and dynamism to your dance without putting too much pressure on your joints. Our goal is to help you develop reflective floorwork, a full range of motion, and to dance organically, using your body's natural functions, rather than relying on power. Throughout the class, we'll guide you step-by-step on how to effectively use your joints and momentum to move from your spine for your full range of motion. By the end of the class, you'll have learned how to dance bigger without using excess power, and you'll be able to confidently incorporate reflective floorwork into your dance routine.
