The Young Democrats of Arkansas composed of local county, college, and high school chapters from across the state. To become an official part of YDAR, the Young Democrats of America, and the Democratic Party of Arkansas, clubs must be granted a charter by YDAR's State Convention. All charters not renewed by the adjournment of the State Convention are immediately terminated at that time, and club members are no longer members of YDAR.

**NOTE** Due to COVID-19 steps have been taken to move the Chartering Deadline as most of our chapters were, of course, unable to meet and hold elections. You will find the new chartering deadline listed below. **NOTE**

There are a few requirements chapters must meet to gain active charter in YDAR (Bylaws § 103). They must elect a President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer or Secretary and Treasurer in the month of March; they must hold at least four (4) regular business meetings between State Conventions; and they must maintain a current membership roster.

In accordance with YDAR Constitution § 205 and YDAR Bylaws § 105 and 202, this is the authorized chapter chartering application form. The chapter chartering deadline is seven (7) days before the State Convention (April 9).
