The Infrastructure & Sustainability Mentor Program (ISMP) is designed and offered to assist employees in both professional and personal development areas as part of their career with the University of Colorado Boulder.
Eligibility to apply to the program requires at least 6 months of successful service in your department, and at least an overall "satisfactory" rating on your most recent performance evaluation, and no attendance issues.
If you've been employed at CU for less than 6 months, we'll consider your application on a case-by-case basis, please reach out to discuss.
If you are from another CU department and would like to participate in the program, please reach out to
Kelsey Draper to discuss options.
Participating in the ISMP means being a partner on a mentorship team. Effective mentor partners serve as mutual advisers, coaches, teachers, sounding boards, cheerleaders, and critics all rolled into one. Mentor partners share their understanding of practices and policies, discuss problems, and analyze and learn in an atmosphere that is trusting, collaborative, constructive, and confidential. Both partners benefit by developing new skills and abilities; broadening experience in specific areas; increasing motivation and confidence; building a wider network; and increasing your understanding of university and departmental programs, policies, and procedures.
Register by filling out the form below on or before Friday, September 15, 2023 in order to be considered for participation in this program.
