Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of Directors of Riverwalk Academy. The governing board consists of 9 members, 4 appointed members and 5 elected members, as outlined in the South Carolina Charter Schools Act (SC Code of Laws Title 59, Chapter 40), as amended, and the Riverwalk Academy Charter and Bylaws. Riverwalk Academy seeks a diverse board with the skills needed to govern a public charter school. Per law, at least 50% must have experience in business or kindergarten-high school education. Board directors are responsible for the long term sustainability of the school.

Candidates for the school's board directors will need to complete this entire form.

The deadline to apply for appointment is 12:00 PM (Noon) on Monday, May 9th, 2022.
