Interest Survey: NOLS Risk Management Training for Outdoor Program Administrators March 11-12, 2020 at Blue Oak Ranch Reserve
I'm excited the UC Field Research Safety Center of Excellence is able to sponsor this valuable two-day training for 24 participants. We'd like to include a variety of roles and representatives in the class that could use the skills to positively impact ongoing field courses, field programs, or research projects. Faculty and staff with field planning roles will be given preference, but grad students are encouraged to apply if they have an ongoing role as a trip leader or field research manager for projects to remote sites.

Applications via this survey will be accepted until December 20, 2019. Selected participants will be notified by January 15, 2020. A waitlist may be created, depending on the level interest.

Please note: training fees, basic shared lodging, and meals on-site will be covered by UCOP Risk Services but participants' departments are responsible for travel costs to/from Blue Oak Ranch Reserve. Please direct any questions to Sara Souza at sarasouza@berkeley.edu. Thanks, Sara
