Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade of Lights Registration 2023

Welcome to 2023 Parade of Lights sign up form! We are thrilled you want to take part in this year's parade. Please read the rules below carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

Deadline to sign up: December 5th

• LIGHTS- Light ‘em up! We have yet to see something with too many lights!

• ENTRY FEE- There is a $10 minimum donation fee for each entry. Additional donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. All donations are payable to MainStreet TorC, a 501C3 nonprofit that is working to revitalize the historic downtown. Donation can be sent by mail to MainStreet T or C, P.O. • SANTA- Santa will arrive in an emergency vehicle, therefore, no other 'LIVE' Santas will be allowed in the parade. Inflatable Santas are allowed.

• SAFETY- Do not use paper products around the lights. You are required to have a fire extinguisher on board. No candy or other objects can be thrown from float or vehicle. Riders must always stay on the float or vehicle. People walking can hand out candy to the sidewalks. We don't want children leaving the sidewalk to collect candy. Please go slowly and maintain a safe distance from the other entries. 3 miles p/h max speed please.

• Drivers and/or owners of vehicles, trailers or any type of parade entry are solely responsible for their property and/or any damage it may cause. Parade vehicles must have proof of liability insurance***.TorC. MainStreet provides no insurance coverage for any parade entry.

• SIRENS- NO SIRENS SHALL BE BLOWN FROM THE CORNER OF MAIN & FOCH TO THE CORNER OF MAIN & PERSHING. Hearing impaired, elderly and small children are encouraged to line up in this siren free corridor. There will be a sign reminding vehicles to silence sirens and horns at this location.

• COMMUNITY- This is a family-friendly event. Make sure your entry is appropriate and follows all local laws.

• LINE-UP- Entrants must report to the Parade Staging area by 5:00 PM on December 8th, 2023. The streets will get closed at 5:00pm watch your email for staging instructions.

• ROUTE- We will be going on both Main & Broadway in the opposite direction! Please do not come north on Poplar.

• JUDGING- There will be judging, there will be prizes. Details to follow!
