Strange Housing Jump Puzzle Submission Form
Please fill out this brief form that helps us get your puzzle listed quickly and accurately. There will be an opportunity to link to a picture if you want that included in your submission.

We require validation of the builder's identity (matching the builder name of a puzzle to a Discord username) in order to make sure we have the consent of the builder to add their puzzle(s) to our database. This is to ensure a direct line of communication between builders and admins. A Strange Housing admin will never give conditions to list or keep a puzzle listed. We will never use a go-between in-game or in Discord DMs.

Please join the SH Discord and ping an admin to set up a visit so we can verify your identity and obtain your consent. It seems like a hassle but we want to avoid any potentially bad situations that have occurred in other communities!

Sub-types
The following portion is tedious but helps us classify your puzzle correctly. We've reworked the sub-types system, and now the tags are only for techniques or elements that are required. For example, if your puzzle requires a Void Jump, it will need a V tag. If your puzzle allows Void Jumps but they aren't required, it would not need a V tag.

We are hoping this well help with any rules as well. By clarifying "you need these, you don't need it if it's not there," it should hopefully foster a culture of respecting the builder's vision while not stifling the jumper's experience with confusing information and an overabundance of rules.

If you have any tags you are unsure about, please use the comment section at the very end to explain any question marks you may have and we'll get it worked out with you! Change is always a pain, but we believe going in this direction makes the system more intuitive and user-friendly for everybody. Thank you for all you do, builders.

Skip any sub-types that do not apply!
Mystery

M: has hard-to-find or maze-like paths, furniture combinations with hard-to-solve interactions; tricky, misleading, or deceptive elements

M+: can signify Mystery complex enough to greatly affect the difficulty rating

Clear selection
Emote

E: has points where /sit or /doze interactions with furnishings are required to cross gaps or walls; these points can be hidden

E+: indicates that emotes will trigger furniture movement ("slides"), potentially locking you out and forcing a re-entry to reset (Used to be H/H+)
Clear selection
Speed

S: makes you wait on Sprint cooldown due to early or multiple long jumps, only applies when jumps are near/beyond max Peloton range. If you can make it back to the Sprint jump(s) with minimal waiting on the Sprint cooldown, this tag isn't needed.

Clear selection
Phasing

P: uses furnishings you need to run straight into until they let you pass through them

P+: requires Jump Phasing (forbidden) to prevent phasing through what you're standing on (used to be F+/F-)

Clear selection
Void Jump

V: has vertical gaps that can only be crossed using a void jump and are required to complete the puzzle

Clear selection
Job Gate

J: has gaps that can only be crossed using specific job abilities, i.e. En Avant, Elusive Jump, Aetherial Manipulation, Hell's Ingress/Egress, etc

J+: requires a specific job such as Blue Mage for Co-op puzzles, or when only certain job abilities will navigate gaps

Clear selection
Ghost

G: has furnishings that disappear and reset in a predetermined order

G+: has multiple stages of Ghost that will disappear and reset in predetermined orders

Clear selection
Logic

L: employs the above mechanics in unconventional ways that redefine what a jump puzzle truly is; can be viewed as a modifier for the other tags. For example, BLU Co-Op requiring self-destruct would use a combo of J+ and L

L+: requires deep understanding of techniques that may be used together to create significant obstacles to solve, usually reserved for multiple advanced techniques (such as E+ and G+ combo) being used together
